Catholics in Nigeria celebrate Mother's Day today, joining the rest of the world that celebrated Mother's day few weeks back.
Today we in a special way honor and appreciate the gift God has given us in the form of our mothers and I couldn't help but share in the joy of many of my blog readers loving up their mums today.
There is no velvet as soft as a mother's laps, no rose as lovely as her smile, no path as flowery as that imprinted by her footsteps. God bless all mothers. In regards to this, we'd celebrate some of our mothers on this platform and hope they get to see your messages you sent in for them.

Today shouldn't be the only day to remember that one person who sacrifices her life, her happiness and all her time only for us. We love you mum, we're incomplete without you. We are thankful to you for everything we are. Through out our lives you're always near. You have that tender smile that guides our way and you're the sunshine that lights our day. God bless you richly mum. Happy Mother's Day our No.1 cheerleader!

There's a woman I love so much. She is a mother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a niece and a teacher to some who know her. She's the one I call MUM or ENYINWA. As I celebrate her today being Mother's Day, I want to use this opportunity to tell her how much she means to me. She's my role model, my teacher, my confidant, my partner in crime, my big baby, my special blacky, the list is endless. Thank you so much for always being there for us your children. I pray to our good Lord to keep you and dad to reap the fruit of your labors. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MUM, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY BOOTHANG. You will be a grandma really soon...sooner than you expect *wink*Chinwendu Enwelu
