Views which was just released last week friday is topping charts and seems to be shaping up to be Drake's biggest commercial success yet.
Although the album has been criticized to be not so inspired, I doubt Drake could care less with so much revenue being brought in just first week of the album being released.
According to Republic Records, VIEWS has sold 1.2 million equivalent album units (from both digital sales and streaming) and has been streamed more than 250 million times globally since its release last Friday(April 29). Of those amounts, over 1 million sales and 200 million streams came from the U.S. alone.
Republic announced that VIEWS will be released physically and through all digital retailers today (May 6). The album, which has so far been available exclusively on iTunes and Apple Music, will hit all streaming platforms on May 13.
The final sales figures for VIEWS won’t be announced by Nielsen Music until later this week.
Drake may just be headed to the top of BillBoard 200 again...Yaga!! There's no stopping to how much more he could keep winning.
