Panshak Zamani also known as Ice Prince who released a new song today titled 'Chike' that featured Korede Bello, is no longer a signed act of Chocolate City Records.
On all the artwork and graphic designs used to promote the song, the logo of the record label was missing. Later on, he had an interview with CoolFM and hinted that he actually has not been in contract with Chocolate City for the past three years.
Sources at THENETng contacted Ice Prince's manager who said he said he has been with the label for the past eight years with his initial five year contract expiring three years ago. Ice Prince however chose to stay with the label and not renew his contract.
His manager, Tobi Sanni went on further to say that the rise in Ice Prince's profile necessitated a rise in financial value very expensive for any label in Nigeria to afford and as such, it didn't make any sense to attempt to stretch the company that far even though the last three years have been very cordial. He stressed for clarification purposes that no one walked out of a contract and that MI would always remain Ice Prince's mentor.
